Ooc: Rawr. This is a continuation of 'A Stanger Leads' If you have not read that, this may not make sense to you x3 Just a warning
He had found a pack, and thanks to him, he was their leader. He felt like laughing, just thinking about that stupid child... He had talked to her, cared for her as his own, and soon she trusted him. He owed his eadership to her, though, and so he still was quite fond of the young wolf. And that was exactly what he had wanted. This very day she had taekn him the news of their sadly befallen leader, and yet she still did not expect /him/, her sweet mentor, to be the one that had really killed him.... He sank comfortably onto his haunches, and remembered, with a swee taste in his mouth, exactly how it had happened.
~~~
It had been a wandering day, not unlike any other. Nearing midafternoon, he had run into another wolf, not but a small pup. Taken by surprise, she had been shy, and curious, wondering about his life, and he had been kind to oblige, filling her with lies. In turn for his made-up story of his life, she had givin him stories about her own life, her own pack. A pack! He could taste the power it could give him, Feel it rushing though his body. But no, not yet. This pack, she said, had a brave and noble leader, but thanks to a most regrettable turn of events, he would fall. Thanks to Stolz... He smiled.
In late fall, sickness struck the camp. When Lela, his foolish spy, had brought him this news, he had barely ben able to contain his excitment. A sickness; the exact thing he needed to dipose of the leader. But not just yet.. All in good time. Lela came day by day, giving information on how wolves were slowly dieing, but the Alpha had not yet fallen sick. How could this be? He had waited so patiently... Winter was just around the corner, and he knew he had to act.
Finally, Lela came particularly stressed. The Alpha had finally been infected. He raged at night, she said, worse then any other wolf had yet. Stolz pretended tobe destressed, and told Lela of a certain berry she would find in the forest, one that may have the powers to heal their alpha, if it was not too late. He told her to feed them to him secretly. "No one else must know," he had said. "If they do, the magic of the berry will turn against your entire pack, and you will all fall, and die aone, in the darkness." Frightened by his tales, Lela had kept the poisen a secret, and fed it to her leader every day, just as she was told.
The berries began taking effect along with the sickness, and Ulric's condition grew worse. Stolz coundn't belive his good luck. One day, Lela finally came with the expected news: Ulric had passed. He had grieved with her for many a day, and telling her more stories of his heroism... Finally, the young wolf had gotton an idea that Stolz had been hinting about for days. She told her mother, Litteken, of the stranger, and took her and Jager to meet with him. They conferenced for a long while, but the pack was too weak to stand for it's own. They must have a leader, and so took in Stolz as their new Alpha.
~~~
Now he was in his new den, purged of the sickness by the incoming frost. He grieved with the pack for their leader, and slowly took them into his care, one by one. They depended on him, and he had the power he had always wanted... Except for one thing. El Rio was weak, pathetically so. He despised them for it. Every day, he would take out Lela, his almost adopted daughter, and together they would search for strong wolves to bring into their own.

Weak morning sun tumbled down from the blood-colored overcast sky onto the icy, frost covered hill where a small-stature male sat on his haunches, head held high with large tufted ears twitching furiously to pick up the slightest sounds and echoes. The brisk winter breeze ruffled a deep roan pelt splashed with creamy white and Rincavernon blinked away dancing snowflakes from cloudy green eyes as he waited patiently for the two wolves who always came this way, searching for something as yet unknown to him.
They're certainly taking their time this fine morning. He mused to himself. Maybe they found what they were looking for. This he thought sadly as he wished for companionship of any type now he had been solitary for so long. And I was going to ask if I could join their pack too...Rhavaniel is no-where to be found and returning will just be a waste of my time and my other sisters are always so annoying, it's getting to be a drag.
Rinca rose up, shaking his fur to dislodge the dusting of snow and set off down the slope in the direction the Fae and other male usually came from.
I guess I'll just have to go and find them then.
