{{ M'kay. For some reason it won't let me post on the other thread. +__~ And welcome, new people. I'll be trying to get a male character in soon - we have a pathetic number of them, I've noticed. }}
Catalina opened her eyes. For a moment, she did nothing but rest there, lying in grass so tall it hid the sight of her body completely, though she hadn't bothered covering her scent. There couldn't be anything that dangerous. The sun warmed her pelt, as her ears tipped forward, hoping to catch something interesting going on. Taking a deep breath, Tal sat up, and regretfully pulled herself to her feet. Just another day, another uneventful day. But her lively eyes revealed that she was too well-rested to do nothing but sit and rest for the remainder of the day. It was about time she found out what was on the other side of the river, who was there, and, as her parents would put it, how quickly she could get herself killed. Hopefully not quickly enough for her to not have explored most of the territory. She glanced momentarily over her shoulder, listening for the sounds of another wolf. There were none.
Without further hesitation, her white paws carried her towards the river.

//-Giggle- Well.. Yah. That would be my fault -bows- Meh... Yah. Oh yes, and I'll be making a male character too.. I notice that we basically have loner females... 0.o But this male I will make a leader, and maybe we can pull a pack together to actually /be/ El Rio Triste... Or we might have to, like, change the name to "Random Loners" x3 //
Aria, panting, finally far enough, in her mind, came to a splashing halt in the river. Her flanks heaving, she almost wanted to collaspe.. But wait. She saw another wolf through the trees on the other side.. The Stelle side! Letting out a growl, she sprang up, leaving the water she had been in tinged red. Her tounge lolling partway out of her mouth, she ran over the territory line, afraid to call out to the other wolf. What in the world was it thinking? Even the loners knew that that pack was.. unstable, to be nice. She quietly shook water form her fur, and followed the wolf into the trees.

{{ xDD Random loners, yah. Or maybe Rum-Crazed Rabid Duck-billed Platapi... }}
Tal came to a dead calt, ears swiveled to the side and listening for what she was sure she had heard. The movement of water, from not too far behind. Her dark nose twitched, trying to catch the scent - there was none. Curiosity flickered in her eyes. Perhaps it was nothing. A rabbit, a squirrel. She wasn't hungry, so there was no need to kill. And if it was another wolf, she felt herself more than prepared to take whatever action necessary to get rid of it. Or even talk, perhaps, depending on the friendliness of the other.
Assuming, of course, that there was a wolf at all. Tal continued, ears still tipped to catch any further sounds, though her proud, chocolate-golden eyes remained fixed ahead.

Aria stalked through the foliage, aware of this other wolf's tension. Happpily managing to forget her dilema for awhile, she stepped forward carefully, the tension in her muscles making her light on her paws. Pink water still dripped from her belly, making a tell-tale path through the carpet of brown leaves. She gimaced, realizeing the trouble she could become entangled in if her actions triggered more loathing between the two packs. Well, it wouldn't be her fault anyways, it was the other's fault. Lost in thought, a twig snapped beneath her paw, and she slipped, sliding easily down the muddy leaves. She felt a howl rise in her throat, but it died there, as she stopped and looked up, straight into a pair of penetrating caramel eyes.
